Mobile POS receipt printers

Mobile POS receipt printers are compact and lightweight printers that are perfect for restaurants, cafes, boutiques, medical facilities, as well as for use in transportation, retail, logistics, and other applications where mobile employees need to print some information on a receipt.

Unlike self-adhesive label printers, mobile receipt printers similar to stationary receipt printers print on regular "cash" tape. Portable POS printers use thermal printing technology. The printing system doesn't use ribbons (ink ribbon) like thermal transfer label printers or ink cartridges like inkjet office printers. Instead, they use thermal paper and burn information such as text, graphics, and logos and barcodes onto it by heating certain areas (similar to a fax machine).

Mobility implies ease of use, so it is very easy to change the paper. With a variety of straps and fasteners, the printer can be easily attached to a belt, shoulder or vehicle. Users can easily connect the printer to a data collection terminal, smartphone, PDA using RS-232, USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Optionally, the portable printer can be equipped with a magnetic stripe card reader or a smart card reader.

The portable receipt printer has an energy-saving battery mode with enough power to print a large number of receipts with rechargeable batteries. Replacing the batteries does not require special skills, the operation is simple and convenient.
